Permaculture Design Course, 25th September – 8th October 2016

Elemental Permaculture is now taking registrations for the 2016 Urban Permaculture Design Course (PDC).

Our PDC is a 72-hour intensive course on ethically based sustainable design for building resilient communities. The course will empower people to develop practical design solutions and strategies for urban, suburban, and rural communities.

Located in the Illawarra, southeastern coast of New South Wales, the course is suited to people living in urban environments in a sub tropical to warm temperate climatic zone.

Our course is a unique approach that combines Permaculture theory and practice. Students will develop foundation skills through theory and practice to develop understandings that support good design and ethical decision making.

It will be held at Warrawong High School, a leading Permaculture school garden which demonstrates innovative urban Permaculture principles in action. You will be learning through doing, working with existing systems and developing new garden elements (See course program).

Responding to the need Elemental Permaculture has developed a PDC that will inspire and empower people ready to work in the world as Permaculture practitioners.

A diverse range of experienced Permaculture practitioners from across the south coast region will be delivering excellent training in their area of expertise.

Elemental Permaculture has over 20 years of experience in Permaculture planning, design, implementation, training and education. Our projects include: urban design, eco village design, regional master planning, school and community gardens and environmental restoration. We are PDC trainers with Brogo Permaculture Gardens and the Permaculture Sydney Institute.
